That thing is coming together so damn cool! I had to revisit your first post to remember the goals for the rig:

You're going to quickly become everybody with a broken rail's best friend, that's for sure. Are you planning to do any camping type trips out of it (I hate to use the over-used term "Overlanding"... but yea, Overlanding)?

Nah. Not really my thing. I’ll tow it to fun off-roading spots with the Moho. Once I get it road worthy and understand its road manners I’ll have more of an idea what I’ll do with it.

But yes. Dune recovery will be a lot of fun in this thing.

Gotcha. I definitely feel you on that, I didn't think going back to more basic camping would be my thing, but after this last weekend it has me thinking about "Overland" builds...

As long as you're having fun!

Looks bad ass. The back half reminds me of a VW Thing the way you did the fenders. Hope you clearanced enough to avoid tire rub but it sure looks tight. Looking forward to more progress pics.

So bad ass! The stance looks mean as hell with those big ass tires. I like it. Nice work!

Cant wait to see it out in the Dunes cruising around

It’s sitting at full bump right now. We should have plenty of clearance once I’ve got springs on her.

Definitely doesn't look like an 800 anymore looks way beefier! Great build!

Looks killer man. I like the swinging door bars, cause I'm fat, and old, and don't bend easily anymore. What kind of latch will they have?

I used these trail gear slam latches.
