Was looking up prices and my mouth dropped. Gonna have to tell the wife it’s a little more then the $1400 I told her it would be.

The race team I was on has a deal with General Tire and they have RV sizes. I can hit up my buddy and get a price if you want? Might as well get a price for myself too.

Is $32.51 and $245.75 added together the price of the tire?

                Thanks for getting the quotes.

Yes the 32.51 is the Fedral Excise Tax. So the price would be the 2 numbers added together plus the normal state tax

Finally remembered to check the dates on my tires and looks like I'm a little under 5 years on my Michelin's, April 2015.

My buddy blew a steering tire on his 42' tag axle pusher while pulling his 30' stacker loaded with two cars. Said it was sketchy AF and even worse it was around 1am on the 86 near Salton Sea. I gave him the mobile guy Grey Mamba posted about (I've used him once) but he was out of town and gave him another guys number and he brought out a new tire and used wheel for $700 installed. Not bad at all. He found a mobile tire guy that came to his house and installed 8 new Goodyears for $350 each. I'm using that guy when I need tires.

My DS had 315s in all 8 positions, the 43' version ran a 365 front and 315s for the other 6 IIRC. They were going to be crazy expensive to replace, along with all 8 house batteries and 2 chassis batteries. So I sold it before I needed to... oh wait, I lost waaaaaay more doing that.
